Brett & Nici Cooper lived in suburban Newcastle in 2010 but they had a dream.

Their dream was to move their family to a country location and create a farm with the Permaculture Method.

Luckily Brett & Nici’s destiny lead them to R & R Property the Stroud Real Estate Specialists. Denise Haynes from R & R Property showed them a few properties but they fell in love with a cottage on 1 acre in Stroud Road NSW which they could see the potential in.

Today the 1 acre property has been completely transformed. With hard work and dedication they have created the most amazing gardens bursting with produce & livestock.

Along with their farming neighbours Ken & Carol Maddocks they have also started “Two Men & A Pumpkin Farmgate” featuring “Bernie The Caravan” as a road side stall.

Limestone Permaculture is now providing classes teaching the Permaculture way which are always quickly booked out. They also provide a consultancy service helping you to create your own Permaculture Design.

Flannel Flower Story

A much loved Australian wild flower, that is an icon for the Myall Lakes region. The Flannel Flower grows in natural fields of bushland and is easily identified for the brilliant  white textured petals, and the soft green and grey foliage.

Emerging in Spring the Flannel flower is absolutely stunning in full bloom with large fields of white covering the landscape. There is nothing more unforgettable than walking through the field of flowers.

The Flannel Flower represents close relationships, intimacy and healing. The Flannel flower is also the symbol used for Aboriginal mental health foundation as this represents resilience, beauty and the ability to adapt.

Painted with love, this is a stunning painting that is even more brilliant to see close up, just like the flower.
